What is the mankind doing in life to pleasure God?
Jesus said to his Father,I have glorified you on the earth, having finished the work you have given me to do. Jesus glorified God by accomplishing His purpose on earth.
We glorify God in a similar way. When any creation accomplishes its purpose, it glorifies God. Birds bring glory to God by barking, building their nests with song, and doing other things that are expected of birds.
When it fulfills its purpose, even the smallest creature gives glory to God. God created the ant to be the ant and He created you to be you. The saint said, the glory of God is that man lives a full life.
There are many ways to glorify God but the five purposes God has for you can be summarized. We will look at this in more detail in the rest of this book, but let’s look at the following. Worship is our first responsibility to God.
We worship God by rejoicing in Him. The sages say that when God commands us to give Him glory, He invites us to rejoice in Him. God wants us to be motivated by worship, not by works.
John Piper says that in us God is most worshiped when we grow and enjoy Him. Worship is much more than praise than singing, and more than praying to God.
Worship is a way of life in which we enjoy God, love Him, and surrender our lives to Him for His own purposes. When you use your life for the glory of God, everything you do becomes worship. the bible says present your members to God as instruments of righteousness.
When you are born again, you become a member of God’s family. Following Christ is not just a matter of believing, it also involves becoming His family and learning to be His family and love that family.
John wrote, We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death. And Paul said, Therefore receive ye one another, even as Christ also received you, to the glory of God.
It is your responsibility to learn to love as God loves you because God is love. That brings his glory. Jesus said, I give you a new commandment, that ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
By this all will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another. Once we are born into God’s family, He wants us to grow to spiritual maturity. What does that look like? Spiritual maturity is being like Jesus in the way we think, feel and act.
The more you have the character of Christ, the more you will bring glory to God. On this subject the Bible says, Yet we all, with unveiled face, reflect the glory of the Lord, and we are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.
When you accepted Jesus, God gave you a new life and a new identity. Now that you have the rest of your time on earth, God wants you to continue to change your character. The bible says this. that ye may be filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.
We are all uniquely created by God with our own unique abilities, gifts and abilities. The way you are turned on is not a coincidence. God did not give you the abilities you have to use for selfish purposes.
Just as other people’s abilities are given to you for your benefit, your abilities are given to you for the benefit of others. The Bible says this. As good stewards of the manifold grace of God, let each man use his own gift as he has prospered.
If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God: if any man do, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth him. To God be the glory in all things through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory and dominion for ever and ever. God does not want His love and purposes to remain hidden from Him.
Sometimes if we learn the truth, He wants us to share it with others. This is a great opportunity. Introduce Jesus to these parents, help them learn their purpose, and prepare them for their ultimate achievement.
The Bible says that all this happened so that as God’s grace abounded, so that many would give thanks to the glory of God.living the rest of your life for the glory of God by changing your priorities, your schedule, your relationships and other things it asks you.
Sometimes it means choosing the hard way instead of the easy way. Jesus Himself struggled with this. Knowing that he was going to be crucified, he cried out, “Now my soul is in trouble, Father, save me this time.
But that is why I came to this time. Father, glorify and magnify your name. Then came there a voice from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again.Will he glorify God by accomplishing his purpose, or will he return to his own pleasant and self-centered life?
You face a similar choice. Do you live for your own goals of success and happiness, or do you give up your life for the glory of God, knowing that He has an eternal reward in store for you? The Bible says that he who spares his life will lose it. Whoever does not spare his life in this world, you will keep him for eternal life.
Now is the time to decide this issue. Who are you living for, yourself or God? You may be doubting whether you have the courage to live for God. don’t worry if he chooses to live for him god will give you everything you need.
From this the bible says, we have all things that pertain to life and peace, through the knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and virtue. The Lord has given us all this to make us God’s people to lead us to life by His divine power. Now God is inviting you to give Him glory by fulfilling the purposes for which He has called you.
That’s really the only way to live. Everything else is life in vain. True life begins with giving yourself completely to Jesus Christ. If you are not sure what you are doing, all you have to do is accept and believe.
The Bible promises that as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name. Will he accept this gift from God?
I believe in the beginning. Believe that God loves you and created you for His purpose. Believe that you were created to live forever. Believe that God created you to have a relationship with Jesus Christ, who died for you on the cross. Whatever you have done, believe that God wants to forgive you.
Take it from the second. Accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior and receive forgiveness of your sins from Him. Take His breath from Him to help you fulfill the purpose of your life. The Bible says that he who believes in the Son has eternal life. Wherever he lives and takes this lesson, he will bow his head and pray.

Jesus I believe in you, I accept you and keep praying this prayer from your heart, welcome to the family of God and you are now ready to start understanding, understanding, and living God’s purpose for your life. Being true friends with God
For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. God wants to be next to you from every child.
Your relationship with God has many parts. God is your Creator, your Lord, your Judge, your Savior, your Father and more. The most amazing truth is that Almighty God wants to be your friend.
In Eden we imagine God’s relationship with us. Adam and Eve enjoyed a close relationship with God. There were no rituals or festivals or religion. That was the relationship between god and the people he created.
Without being limited by feelings of guilt and fear, Adam and Eve rejoiced in God, and God rejoiced in them. We were created to live in God’s continuous presence, but after the fall the lake of thought disappeared. Only a few people in the Old Testament had the opportunity to be friends with God.
Moses and Abreham are called friends of God. David is called a man like Him (God), and Job, Enoch and Noah were close friends of God. But the most prominent feature in the Old Testament is not friendship with God but fear of Him.
Jesus changed that situation. When He paid the price for our sins on the cross, the veil of the temple that represented our separation from God was burned and torn to the ground, which shows that we have a direct encounter with God and that it is still restored.
Unlike the Old Testament priests who spent a long time preparing to meet Him, we can now approach God whenever we want. The Bible says, and not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.
Through the grace of God and the sacrifice of Jesus, friendship with God is possible for us. All this is from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ. In the old hymn Jesus says what a friend we have.
But in reality of the relationship with the three persons in His unity and the Holy Spirit Jesus said, I no longer call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master is doing. But I have called you friends, for all things that I have heard from my Father I have made known to you.
The word relatives does not refer to simple intimacy but to a close and loyal relationship. It was used to describe the best of the people at the wedding and to describe the person who could enter the royal palace and meet him.
Loyal Friends In the court the servants cannot approach the king as they wish, but his loyal friends enjoy approaching and meeting him, meeting him directly and talking to him in secret.It is hard for me to understand that God wants to be so close to His friend. But the Bible says you shall not worship any other god: for I the LORD, whose name is Jealous, am a jealous God.
God wants us to know Him deeply. In fact, he has planned the world and the history of various things and added about our lives. So we can be his friends. The Bible says, And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation.
That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:
God is still not far from all of us.
Knowing and loving God is our greatest opportunity. Being known and loved by us is God’s greatest joy. God says, Let the man who understands that I am God and that I practice goodness, righteousness, and justice in the earth glory in this, for I delight in such things.
God has spoken this. It is difficult to imagine how a special relationship of intimacy could develop between the almighty, invisible, and perfect God and the finite and sinful human being. It is easier to understand the relationship between the master of the servant or the creator of nature, or the father of the son.
But what does it mean that God wants me to be like this, his friend? By looking at the lives of God’s friends in the Bible, we will become familiar with the mysteries of our relationship with God.
Being a close friend of God
You cannot develop a close relationship with God just by going to church once a week or having a quiet time every day. Friendship with God is built by sharing all your life experiences with Him. It is indeed a good practice to appear before God daily.
Consider how to have meaningful silence in personal Bible study strategies. He wants to be included in all your works, all your words, all your problems, and all your thoughts. By telling him about what you are currently doing or thinking, you can keep the conversation open with him throughout the day.
It means talking to God in the dark while you are shopping, driving, working, or doing other daily activities. The common mistake is that spending time with God means being alone with Him.
Indeed, just as Jesus did, spending time with God means being alone with Him. It is really important to take time with God alone, as Jesus did, but su is very little of the time you have outside of sleep.
If you invite His worker and know that you are in His presence, all you do can be spending time with God. the best book written about talking to God constantly is practicing God’s presence.
It was written in the 17th century by Brother Lawrence, a humble cook in a French cathedral. Brother Lawrence was able to turn even small places and jobs such as cooking and washing dishes into worship.
He said the key to having a relationship with God is not changing what you do, but changing your attitude toward what you do. Start counting what you do for yourself like eating, bathing, working, having fun, and picking up dirt as doing for God.
Today we think we have to get away from our daily routine to worship God, but that is because we are not practicing being in God’s presence all the time. Lawrence realized that it was possible to worship God while doing our permanent parental work, and he did not need to go anywhere else for other spiritual programs.
This is in the mind of God. In Eden, worship was not a participatory program, but a continuous act. Adam and Eve had a permanent relationship with God. God is always with you and there is no better place to be close to Him than where you are now. The Bible says that He does not do everything, and He is everywhere.
Another effective idea of Brother Lawrence is that it is better to pray a short prayer with continuous conversation than a long and complicated prayer. I do not recommend that you use too many words in prayer so that you can pray with full concentration and avoid being overwhelmed by useless thoughts.
Because a lot of talk will disperse your mind, he says. Practicing the presence of god the books of the eighth message. In this age of concentration problems, this advice from 450 years ago can help you. the bible says to pray always. How can this be done?
One way is to pray for discovery, as many Christians have done for centuries. You choose a short sentence or a simple phrase that you can repeat to Jesus from a single discovery, you are with me. I accept your grace.
I’m relying on you. I want to get to know you. I’m yours. Help me to trust you. You can also use a short phrase from the bible, for me life is Christ. You won’t leave me. You are my god. Pray as often as you can and then it will hold your thoughts deeply. Make sure your motivation is to honor God, not to control Him.
Practicing the presence of god is a character skill you can develop. Just as musicians practice playing beautiful music over and over again every day, you have to force yourself to think about God at different times of your day.
In the beginning, make reminders that will distract you so that you know that God is with you at that time. Upload those reminders where you can see them clearly.
Maybe you can post a little note saying God is with me now, and for me, people who followed the teachings of a man named benedict used a phone clock to remind them during prayer. If he has an appointment clock or phone, do the same. Sometimes you feel God’s presence, sometimes you don’t.
If you are trying to find practice in these strategies, you are wrong. We worship God not to make us feel good, but to do good. Your goal is not to feel, but to constantly know the truth of God’s presence. That’s a devotional way of life.
The second way to have a relationship with God is to think about His Word all day long. This is called deep thinking. The Bible repeatedly tells us to think deeply about who God is, what He has done, and what He has said.
It is impossible to be a friend of God without knowing what He said. You cannot love God unless you know Him, and you cannot know Him unless you know His Word. The Bible says that God continued to reveal Himself in the place where He revealed His word to Samuel.
God still uses that strategy. Even if you don’t spend the whole day studying the bible, you can spend the whole day thinking about it by remembering how much you read and by repeating it in your mind. Deep silent meditation is often understood as a difficult act and a mysterious practice of worship that is done only by people and passersby.
Deep silent thinking, however, simply means focused thinking. This is a skill that everyone can learn and where skills can be used. When you think about problems over and over again in your mind su is called worry.
Thinking about God’s Word over and over again is called thinking deeply. If you know how to worry, you know how to think deeply. You need to take your focus off the problems and off the bible.
The more you think deeply about God’s Word, the less things you worry about. The reason God considered Job and David as close relatives was that they valued His word above all else, thinking about it all day long.
Job said, I have not departed from the commandment of his mouth, neither have I kept his word in my heart. And David said, How I love thy law: for I meditate therein all the day long: for all my work is within my heart.
I also think about what you have done. If friends make it a habit to think about Him all day long, God will tell you His secret. God told Abraham His secret and so did I, Daniel, Paul, His other disciples and friends. Don’t forget more when you read your Bible, or when you hear a sermon or when you listen to a hymn.
Make it a habit to think about it again and again and remind yourself of the truths you have heard. When it takes time to think about what God has said, you will understand the mysteries of this age that many people fail to understand.
The Bible says that God makes known his secret thoughts to those who fear him. His covenant does not make them deeply understanding.
In the next chapter we will look at four more mysteries about having a relationship with God, but don’t wait until tomorrow. Start having a constant conversation with God together and thinking deeply about His Word. Speak to God in prayer and meditate and God will speak to you. Both will help you to become God’s friend.
